A program of the Bill Wilson Center that provides individual and small group support for adults, children, and families experiencing life-threatening illness or death of a loved one. Crisis intervention and a broad based educational program on grief and loss are offered. Grief counseling services are provided by highly trained volunteers, interns and a dedicated staff.

Hospice of the Valley - www.hospicevalley.org

Offers grief support at no charge for the family and loved ones of the patient for 13 months as part of hospice services. The Community Grief Center also offers bereavement support to grieving community members on a sliding scale fee.

A center that offers compassionate peer support and education to individuals, families, and organizations coping with death and dying. Kara's mission is to empower children, teens, and adults to find their way through grief so that they can rebuild their lives with renewed hope and meaning.

Mission Hospice & Home Care - www.missionhospice.org

Founded in 1979, Mission Hospice & Home Care is a local, independent nonprofit that provides quality, compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families in San Mateo County and surrounding communities. Mission Hospice hosts ongoing, free drop-in grief support groups, open to the community, in both English & Spanish. Mission Hospice also offers specialized support groups and workshops, as well as individual and family counseling sessions.
